ஒரு நீட்ட உருளைக்கிழங்கு இருக்குது. ஸாரி, ஒரு நீட்ட உருளை
(சிலிண்டர்) இருக்குது. அத்தோட நீளம் 90செ.மீ., சுத்தளவு 24செ.மீ.. அத்த சுத்தி சுத்தி, ஒரு நூல(கயிறுபா) சுத்துறாங்க. அந்த நூலு, உருளைய சரியா 5 தடவை சுத்திருக்கு(அதாவ்து கரீட்டா அஞ்சு ரவுண்டு அடீச்சிருக்கு). அப்படி 5 தடவை சுத்துனதுல, நூலோட ரெண்டு முனையும், உருளையோட மேலேயும் கீழேயும் இருந்துச்சு(பட்த்த பாத்துகோபா!).
இப்போ கேள்வி என்னத்த பெரிசா கேட்டுறப் போறேன்? அந்த நூலோட நீளம் என்ன? அவ்வளவுதான்!

i didn't mentioned anything about the angle of the strings rotation.
The only thing is the string rolls over the cylider exactly five turns and the two ends of the string touches cyliders top and bottom. How ever, in the given picture, the string rolls the cylider only 4 turns, its just for illustrative purpose.
Any way your answer is not right!;-(
String length is about 131.6 cm
(if it is wound at 45 degree angle)

circumfrence of a circle is 2pir, you made 5 circles with the thread. So total length of the thread is 5* 2*pi* r.
I assumed சுத்தளவு as diameter.
so 5*2*22/7/* 12 =376.8.
if சுத்தளவு is circumfrence then lenth =5*24 = 120 cm

If it is wound 5 times we can consider it as 5 ellipse. minor axis is the diameter of cylinder= 24*7/22 = 7.63. The major axis is root of (7.63^2+ 9^2) = 11.803
The Circumference of ellipse = 31.22
So total length = 156.1
